What is a Sneaker Collector?

If you do not know what a "sneaker collector" is you probably can guess just from the title. It is a person that likes to collect a lot sneakers ranging from nikes, reeboks, and even addidas. A sneaker collector does not discriminate when it comes to collecting they just collect what ever sneaker they like and the ones that hardest to come by (limited edition). This culture first came about during the 1980s when the Air Force 1s and Air Jordan's came on the market. These people are known as sneaker heads, a person who is highly experienced visually even to the point of discernment in distinguishing between real and fake replicas and also owns multiple pairs of sneakers as a form of Hobby, collection, Trade and fashion. This culture has spread through out the world to places like Europe and Asia. Overall this hobby has boosted sales for sneaker companies like Nike, which benefits the most because of the Michael Jordan endorsed brand "Air Jordans."
